This blog is primarily concerned with images of spirits, how they make themselves felt and found, and how they are then realized through the application of black or white paint. Occsaionally some text is added.

This is not a commercial site. Some have asked why I do not affix prices next to each Spirit, and the answer is because if I did, I think the Spirits would make themselves more scarce.

The painter of these has been painting in Austin, Texas for 25 years; has a dayjob at the local university; and is currently trying to sell enough paintings to make a return to Italy. He can be reached at ‘marco.g@mail.utexas.edu’
